What's more, this retrograde of Mercury overlaps with the retrograde of Mars in Gemini, and the two are in mixed reception. Ideas, the way of communicating, the way of thinking and perceiving information, the way of acting and interacting with others, the way of learning and perceiving those who teach us, all require reevaluation. If we look at another level, then information, documents, logistics, transportation require restructuring. Some of us will feel blockages or stagnation in certain areas (see which house Capricorn is in in the natal chart), others will no longer find themselves in certain processes in which they are involved. What do we have to do? Let's change the switch where things are not developing constructively, let's restore our priorities.

Mercury will make two trines to Uranus in Taurus: once being retrograde (January 9) and the second being direct (January 30), while it is in the domicile of Saturn. I think everyone remembers the famous square between Uranus and Saturn in recent years, which everyone called “the transition period from the old to the new”. Now is the moment of rupture between that old and the new. Of course, the actual effects will be seen after the end of the retrogrades, more specifically after Uranus returns to direct starting with January 23, 2023.

I want to emphasize that this is a complex process, which takes time, but which “ripens” on these downgrades. Do not imagine that immediately after January 23, something will happen without us doing anything. On the contrary, I want to draw attention to the fact that until then we have a lot to do, especially since we have these circumstances. I believe that those who do not act will be “activated” by others, so it is best to carve your own path as best you can.

The two trines between Mercury and Uranus bring us new solutions to old problems, if we exploit them. Uranus puts at our disposal its innovative nature, technology and science. Because it is in earth signs, I tend to believe that these can manifest themselves especially in state structures, business, resources and finances.

I recommend that you be open to any opportunities, change the method where the old one no longer copes, look within yourself to reprioritize things. If you don't do it yourself, others will do it for you.
