What is Tarot?
Tarot is a set of cards with specific symbolism used for divination. It is assumed that their origin has its roots in Ancient Egypt. Some occultists of the past, researchers of the "unseen energetic world", created their own sets of tarot cards, transposing into their symbolism all the knowledge they had accumulated or intuited about the existence of universal forces present in every form of life on earth and, especially, in the lives of people.
Tarot speaks about the laws of the universe, how it works, and the place and meaning of each person's life in the universe as a whole.
What is occultism?
Occultism is the body of esoteric doctrines and magical practices, it is "hidden knowledge" as opposed to "open, measurable knowledge", the latter usually referred to as "science". In other words, it is the study of a deeper spiritual reality that extends beyond pure reason and the physical sciences. Astrology, alchemy, numerology and magic are part of the so-called "occult knowledge".
